Not really *new*, no. It is an option to customize your Google home page.

huh. That's the first time I've seen my email, my account, signout option on the home page.

All those options in the upper-right corner.

Maybe it's because I signout of Gmail and always search using the toolbar so I've never seen Google.com while I was logged in.

Weird this is the first time I've seen it and I google 100 times a day

Yes, but this is the first time I'm seeing it at google.com (HomePage).

Now if I sign out, I see a "Sign IN" Link

http://img365.imageshack.us/img365/653/google12ve.gif

NEVER seen that before

When I sign in, I see this at http://www.Google.com (HomePage).

http://img365.imageshack.us/img365/6409/google28td.jpg

Look at my URL's Do you guys see this too. I've never seen a Sign In link before.

If you guys don't see the same, it must be because of GoogleTalk installed. I suppose it modified cookies so Google.com knows to display that info.
:dunno:

Ok, I see where I might be confusing some people or myslef

I know about "MyGoogle" or customized google.

What I'm asking is do you see what I see on the HomePage http://www.Google.com

About the portal comment I made, Google is know to have a simple clean fast HomePage not loaded with info. It seems they are slowly moving away from that to the portal theme.

This was a speculation I had read about in Fortune Mag. Fortune Magazine thinks Google might switch over to the 'portal' look and display graphical advertisements on their HomePage because that is where Google is lacking and the only text advertisement option Google has keeps a lot of advertisers from advertising on Google; or advertising more I should say.
