Hi guys n gals, I just added a dedicated ip to my hosting account, the dedicated ip has been added but the shared ip also still works, is this right, as I guessed that dedicated meant my account would have its own ip which would be seperate from the shared ip other hosting accounts were sharing.

The shared ip will still work to access things like cpanel and ftp. Just to make sure you are on a dedicated ip enter it in your browser and see if it takes you to your site.

Thanks for the reply, I just checked, the dedicated ip works.
