Hello,

I want to have access to a mysql database
via msaccess and ODBC driver. What do I need? A NT Server? Linux?

Could that be a security problem? It´s thought for
updating data of an online shop.

You should be able to run it on either Linux or NT... there are Unix ODBC drivers out there that you could use to connect to the database from MS Access (I'm sure about the driver availability and fairly sure that this will work).
