Hi ramram,

I would have to agree with intek.

Try to be a little more specific as it can help a great deal when requesting feedback on a host from others.

Are you looking at hostdime.com for reseller hosting or dedicated hosting? And what are you looking at in terms of quality?

With regards to pricing, if it’s too good to be true, it usually is and you do get what you pay for, so don’t expect an exceptional service on a host which asks for almost nothing.

And always check the Terms of Service.

Well by visiting there website I found a few red flags:

- Status Page is no longer online
- Control Panel demo does not work
- The Web Hosting Testimonials have not been updated in over two years.

Other than this, I do not know anything else about the company. There forums do happen to have several people online, so you may want to search them.

Good luck

Just a note: As far as I am aware hostdime is currently finishing up a new website design.

Everyone knows their old one is outdated and not updated often enough!

Maybe he only has experience with their shared hosting and he's keen to know how their reseller and dedicated hosting services are like...

Try this:

check them out on the bbb.org website.

Then make a decision.

I did -er- didn't.

If you experienced them already with shared hosting, you probably have a good idea of how the support and servers are themselves.

you will probably be able to find cheaper prices some where else, but run the risk of finding a bad company.

I used to have a reseller account with Hostdime, but canceled it this week.
Hostdime suspended one of my customeraccounts without any notice. I have sent many tickets to their support desk because I got 5 phonecalls a day from my customer to know why his account was suspended. After 2 days I didn´t have any answer and took at all my sites from hostdime to avoid this problem in the future.
Just when I canceled my account I got a very quick response and they offered me 1 month for free. The reason to cut the account was 15 open database connections at the same time. Very strange because they have cut the site in the middle of the night and at this time there almost aren´t visitors.
If read their forums and saw many more accounts has been suspended without any notice and good reason.

BE CAREFULL WITH HOSTDIME!!!!!!

But he's already found that.

Searching on these forums will indeed return a great deal of information regarding the company. What exactly are you looking for that you did not find in a previous search? I know that I have personally posted quite a bit of information regarding them, so maybe you just aren't searching for the right terms.

If you want the short and sweet version, stay far away from them. Sure, your shared account may be working fine (which is a miracle in and of itself), but dedicated servers are another story. They only have one tech. that handles all of the setup/support and other things regarding them, and he seems to be lacking in common sense, courtesy and knowledge.

True, their prices are fairly cheap, but for slightly more you can get the same hardware and bandwidth with a much more reputable company.
