CP problem

when I reboot the server, I need to delete all the IPs and then readd them, then my website can be visited, if not, just one website can be visited which is using the base IP!

ping the server and Tracieroute, the speed is ok. as I can connect to it very fast, just the webserver seems slow. i think is a problem with the configuration, so what problem is it? does anyone can tell me who have this kinds of experiences!

if this is a cPanel server it's most likely that your ipaliases service isn't starting correctly, this is ussually due to the fact that /etc/ips isn't setup correctly.

i did the ping and Tracieroute test, the data look ok, the speed should be fast, so just the webserver seems slow. it is a configuration issue. if the ipaliases service isn't starting correctly, can you help me to check my server? thanks, wait for your response!

well, I found once I had redone my /etc/ips file all was good, all I really needed to do was make sure that it was in the <ip>:<netmask>\n format...

for example:

192.168.1.2:255.255.255.0
192.168.1.100:255.255.255.0

69.41.253.14:255.255.255.0:69.41.253.255
69.41.253.15:255.255.255.0:69.41.253.255

i did the /etc/init.d/ipaliases start, it appeared:

Bringing up eth0:1 [ OK ]
Routing 69.41.253.13 SIOCADDRT: File exists
[FAILED]
Bringing up eth0:2 [ OK ]
Routing 69.41.253.14 SIOCADDRT: File exists
[FAILED]
Bringing up eth0:3 [ OK ]
Routing 69.41.253.15 SIOCADDRT: File exists
