Any Better Shared Hosts than Dreamhost?

Currently, I am purchasing this for $9.95 monthly.

2400 MB Storage Space + (20 MB Addition Weekly)
I have amounted 5660 MB storage space.
120 GB Monthly Bandwidth + (1 GB Addition Weekly)
I have amounted 282 GB bandwidth.
75 FTP Accounts w/ SSH access
600 Mailboxes
Unlimited MySQL Databases
PHP4/5 Support, Full Unix Shell, Crontab Access, Full CGI Access, Ruby On Rails, Canned CGI Scripts, Server Side Includes, CVS Repository, phpMyAdmin, cPanel

Anyone have anything better than this or the same thing for a cheaper price? Thanks

~ Daniel

I am sure you could find a host with better specs then that. However, it depends upon the level of support/uptime that you are looking for.

Also many hosts oversell.

If you are happy with your current host, making a switch may do more harm then good!

Best of luck!

I'd say if dreamhost is keeping you happy why switch? Honestly if you find a host that will suit you nicely you should definitely stick with them.

However you might find others offerring similar specifications but be diligent and research before you buy.

Considering you are paying $10 a month for

5.6 GB space, and
282 gb bandwidth..

I'd be quite pleased.

HI, Thief Jack

" generouswebhostin and jschurawlow are right, why change if you are happy with your host. If you want, you can check the offers section here and compare them to your current. But you should listen to them, they make an exellent point.

Good Luck !

I totally agree, I don't think you'll find anything cheaper that will satisfy you in terms of service.

You mean like if you are looking for no support and 90% uptime, you can probably find something cheaper? That's pretty much the only possibility.

I do not use dreamhost, I am not familiar with their services or support. Therefor, I cannot make a judgement as to how good they are in those areas.

Not what I was getting at. Your post is saying (may not be what you meant to say, but that is what is posted) that there are reliable companies offering 5.6 GB space and 282 gb bandwidth for less than $10 a month, which isn't true.

Well... if you are looking for something cheaper, with same spec.... I daresay you most likely will end up disappointed.
Another question is whether you actually have any use for those amounts of space + bandwidth.

Personally, I have a few sites hosted with DreamHost and I am satisfied with their service. Their support is pretty fast, and friendly. However, I signed up because of good customer reviews, NOT huge amounts of space &c.
