Hi, im having trouble with my server, i need to edit the very core httpd.conf file, it appears but the websites are not appearing in it like they do on some other servers i have been on.
I think this is based on modules and was wondering if anyone knew of the place where all the website's on the server apache information could be?
You've confused me a bit here, you need to edit the httpd.conf file, but it's got none of the websites in, however the server is serving pages? Am I right?
There are your possible locations for the httpd.conf file, try each one.

Isnt it true that when the server is running modules, the httpd.conf doesnt contain the user "virtual host" information? The httpd.conf file is not displaying that, and yes the websites are still running. So i presume that they are located elsewhere, but where else is a common place?
Look inside httpd.conf and find all "Include" directives. These will be relative to a "ServerRoot" directory.
