    ASP not serving, just getting code

    Running windows server 2K3 with apache

    All asp scripts do not run, they just print the code. Any ideas?

    do you have Chiliasp or other application installed on your server to recognize asp file format?

    I installed the package from microsoft. That is what I did with another server and it worked fine on that one.

    Apache does not serve ASP. Use IIS instead.

    This is not entirely true.

    If it prints out the code it means that either no handler has been set for the .asp page or the handler is incorrectly configured. You can either a) Get an ASP mod for apache or merge over to another distribution of http.

    It is in practical terms: the apache asp module uses Perl I believe, and Chilisoft ASP is a good deal less than perfect. The poster is using a Windows box, in which case the best solution is IIS, which is included with Windows!
