My company uses a small hosting company (ECPHosting) for its website. I am not sure what to expect regarding response times to service tickets.
Their hosting package is very inexpensive, and they offer everything we need. For the price we pay, I don't expect lightning-fast response times. However, what sort of time frame should we reasonably expect for problems to be resolved?
We have one issue that has not been resolved for over two months (to be fair, there was another major issue that was resolved fairly quickly-within a week).
Should we expect more from our webhost? Is there any way to prod our host to work with us with us in a more timely fashion?
Thank you for the insight. We are trying to get a static ip address for one of our sites--which we originally requested 2 months ago.
The issue is that I really, really do not want to switch providers--I simply don't have the time. I am hoping someone has worked with ECPHosting and may know the best way to get Erik and company to communicate/work with us in a more timely fashion.
