I would like to stop socket pooling at given ports, not just default http/ftp/smtp/etc port... I've tried httpcfg set iplisten and such with no available. I have 3 ports I wish to disable socket pooling for, but I can't seem to make that happen. it's really annoying 'cause socket pooler would return the connection as "online" even when the program is dead and not accepting any connections.
I check on one of my servers with 2 IPs for one application and 2 for another using socket pooling, 0.0.0.0:XXX shows for all the ports. Maybe that's because I disable socket pooling on the IP rather than the ports. Have you tried with entire IP? Seems to work for all the servers I setup for.
Can it be anything to do with how your program work? For me I was using for email and IIS, email using proprietary http and smtp server and have to separate from IIS http and smtp.
