ex.
website1: mydomain.com - 192.0.0.1
website2: mydomain2.com - 192.0.0.8



the rest of my domains were resolving to its perspective. here is my problem.
everytime i ping my website: mydomain.com, it says

Pinging mydomain.com [192.0.0.1] with ...
Request timed out.

the same thing with
everytime i ping my website: mydomain2.com, it says

Pinging mydomain.com [192.0.0.8] with ...
Request timed out.


what do you think is something wrong with my ip's?
i can see them added to the list of ips in my whm.

and when i checked /etc/ips, these 2 ips are missing.
so i added them.
still i still get the same results.

Grep those IPs in ifconfig output, check if entries exist and is correct.

i'm quite new at this.. how will i do that? i'll go to

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts directory?

what is the that GREP command?
