Any affiliate between dotregistrar and domaincar?
Hi,
Anybody know if there is any affiliation between dotregistrar and domaincar.com. One of our domain being changed ownership to domaincar JUST after its expiry and i want to get back the domain!!

I do not know if they are related. It could be a drop company using their connections to grab names

have you read their terms of service? What does it state in reference to their expire policy?

I think iholdings is no more. Dotster recently acquired Dotregistrar this month.

This is good, I do not know what impact the dotster purchase had on this type of problem

I think from now on, should put a notice to my customers reminding them to submit domain renewal payment within 7 days from the expiry. Else, we could be held responsible for any domain loss. Good idea?

If the name is very valuable 30 days before is best
