restricting site content

Hi, I'm interested in starting an online business where users can pay an annual fee and be able to download all the digital media contained within it. I'm looking for a program to streamline the process of creating such a site, but I haven't had much luck finding one. My situation is unique because 1) I don't need to ship anything and 2) I don't want a traditional shopping cart system. I'd also need a secure way to block unauthorized users from downloading the media. I'd be really grateful if someone could either point me in the direction of such a site builder or if anyone knows of good website design tutorials that could help me accomplish my goals. Thanks

Thanks Corey, that's exactly what I was looking for. Do you know of any products similar to cmsmerchant?
