    Try to send e-mails locally. From yourself to yourself and see what will happen. I believe you should be able to send e-mails without problems, to be sure send few e-mails to any free-email account.
    Then try to send from there.

    Is this a dedicted server of yours? If it is, is it WHM / Cpanel based?
    What is the OS?

    Hi Arny,
    Thanks for your reply.

    I have tried to send me a mail, no problem happen, no error message but the mail never come back.

    The server is at, I can use cpanel/webmail to look at my mails but there is no new mail on my pop account since july 29th..

    Normally I receive about 20 mails (spam) a day.

    What can I check?

    Try to check the SPAM folder.
    "Enabling the Spam Box feature will cause all mail marked by Spam Assassin as spam to be delivered to a separate box called 'spam'. You easily can use IMAP or Horde/IMP to check messages that are routed to this box. If you wish to use pop3 to check the spam box, just add "/spam" (without the quotes) to the end of your pop3 login. (Example: [email protected]/spam)"

    Check if your quota is not full, as you know the web-space is shared between e-mails,web-files and MySQL, if it is full you won't be able to receive any e-mails.

    If none of this helps contact your support and ask them to check this isssue. Sometimes high server load may cause EXIM to work very slowly (in case they use EXIM as mail server).

    Also, you can use this code in a php script and then set up a Cron Job.
    This will attempt to send e-mails to you automatically.

    echo "<html><body>";

    $recipient = "YourName <[email protected]>";
    $subject = "POP3 availability";
    $message = "Hello!\n\nThis is the body of the message.\n\n";
    $extra = "From: [email protected]\r\nReply-To: [email protected]\r\n";

    mail ($recipient, $subject, $message, $extra);

    echo "Sending mail...";
    echo "</body></html>";

    I think it's a blacklist problem.

    Nothing can be done except changing my provider.

    He is blacklisted at sorbs and I think it is the reason of my problem

    So, if you plain to choose a host, check on if the ip he will give you is blacklisted or not.

    I know about, thanks But if he is black-listed, this means
    that you cannot send e-mails from it, it does not explain why
    you cannot receive any e-mails, especially if you send them locally.

    Contact their support and ask them. This is not only black-list related issue.

    Thanks Arny,
    I have tried to send me a mail from my domain with a php script, it works..
    I think you are right with sorbs, It can only prevent from sending mail from a domain, not receive mail (excuse my poor english )

    I can't ask support because it is down..

    Most probably a restart of EXIM (or the cppop service)
    could fix the problem. However, this could be done by someone
    of their support. I'm crossing fingers and I hope that you'll be able
    to get in touch with them soon.

    Even if this is the most blacklisted IP ever to enter in a black-list,
    you still should be able to send/receive locally.

    I wish you luck lad!

    To me it looks like your server host has installed some anti-spam software which is rejecting all emails, thinking they are all spam.

    Something wrong with configuration of your MTA exim
    use telnet for SMTP session

    ~$ telnet 25
    Connected to
    Escape character is '^]'. ESMTP Exim 4.51 #1 Wed, 03 Aug 2005 06:52:30 -0500

    MAIL FROM:<[email protected]>
