Godaddy / Name Cheap Coupon Codes....

    Hello guys,
can someone please share their godaddy/namecheap coupon codes so we can save a few bucks off each domain.

I used to have "david" for godaddy, and that would take $1 dollar off, then expired, now the current code for godaddy is "USA6" and that will save you one dollar per order, so order one domain per order to get for $7.95+$0.25 = $8.20 and Namecheap has the code "SAVE7993" and you get domains for $7.99+$0.25.

Can anyone share a BETTER coupon with me/us? I am only looking for ONE more dollar off, I have $1 dollar off coupons but I know a few people that have told me they have used $2 off coupon and the one I had expired.

Replies are MUCH appreciated, that extra dollar off will REALLY help when you think about dozens of domains, were' talking about saving $30 bucks.

    Cheers.

For GoDaddy: SAVENOW gets you 10% off, obviously much better than $1 when you've got multiple domains to buy.

Actually there was one thread recently that I can't find now. I think that code was "SAVE7993" but I don't know if it is still valid.

lol, no worries, if I would have known about coupons I could have saved at least 200 bucks by now, but now that I know about them, I don't register domains without a coupon ever again, and I will never pay more than 6.95 + 0.25 hopefully.

why are discounts being referred to as: $6.95 + 0.25

    what is the 0.25?

ICANN charges every registrar $0.25 for every domain

all registrars don't pass this fee to the customer except godaddy

Does anyone know when these are updated? Every single coupon is expired three days ago.

oh, bummer, so far away..... I so missed out on the 5.50 .net domain special, god I should have bought more than one....

What kinds of specials do they have every week? Do they have something like that all the time or is that a one time thing?

Do they throw like 6.95 registration specials ever or cheaper for .com .net and .org ?

ah, yea I WAS thinking to bulk up on .info and .net when they were cheap, but now I'm thinking of leaving registerfly cuz their coupons are dead and their newsletter site isn't being updated.

    because it does.

If it was free, then one person would register ALL the domains in the world, and sell them for upto a few hundreds of dollars a piece. Basically, that is what versign and icann does, lol....

They give out pretty frequent coupons. You need to move quick on them since most of them expire in 1-3 days. If you find a promotion you like just move on it quick

Can we change the title of the post than? Also it will be nice if everyone posting a deal/coupon followed a specific format. I.e.

    Deal: 10% off any order
    Registrar: Godaddy.com
    Code: saveten
    Expiration: uknown
    Limitations: None

    Hi
is it possible that godaddy ask us later to pay the discount difference?

why they are offering that to public? where we all can benefit from it?

i am still confused if this can be used from any person, and get the same support, service as a regular price?

    hope I can get replies

Godaddy is not the only one to use special promotions and coupons. This is a wide spread technique online and offline. It is method of promoting products/services and acquiring new customers or increasing revenue. Godaddy is still making money even if they offer you 10% off. their margins are around 50% probably...so given a few 100 cusotmers 10% off is peanuts, but they locked you in for a year + for what ever you bought - thats a good deal to them.

no you can't get the difference discount later, it's a time-sensitive special. That's me asking godaddy to let me use a $2 dollar off each domain coupon, on domains I bought three years ago, I would get paid probably $500 bucks if they would let you do that....
    lol...
