problem w mysql not showing up
I am trying to resolve some problems on my server. I have a LAMP server, but hit a prolem where one of my php/MySQOL driven sites is showing a db error when I go to it.
I ran phpinfo to gather some, uh, info, and it does NOT show the section for MySQL AT ALL. Nada.
I DO see MySQL in the list of running processes. I can access it and look at tables, etc.
Any ideas on what could cause this? And what to do to solve it?
What is the exact error showing on that site?
re: show the error message
Here is the error message I receive. using Webmin I can see the db for this site. Again, phpinfo() does NOT show a seciton for MySQL.
[db_error: message="DB Error: extension not found" code=-25 mode=return level=notice prefix="" info="Array"]
Is php configured with the "--with-mysql" option?
Check your phpinfo(), it should be listed at Configure Command.
phpinfo reported this:
Also, this has been running successfully for over 6 months.
Is there another setting somewher eI could check? Something in php.ini? Just hoping to find a quick solution before I have to recompile.
additional info for problem
I compared the [MySQL] php.ini between the broken server and one that is almost identical.
That section in the php.ini shows the same info.
Again, that is within the [MySQL] seciotn of the file(s).
