    How i got my dbase from the Helm ?

    Hi Guys

    Freind of mine have site on windows server and he have Mysql dbase runnin for script .
    he want to move to linux server but we couldn't find the dbase or how we got it .
    i try to my best to get the dbase but i don't know where i can or how download the dbase to use ??

    anyone can help how i can get the dbase from windows server with Helm control panel ??

    mysqldump --user=your_username -p database_name > name_of_file.sql
    name_of_file.sql can be any name you want. Then take it over to the linux server and load it into the database.

    but how i get the file .. i don't know how i get it from the windows ??

    If you can remote access to server, mysql is usually installed at c:\mysql. So if you want to use above command, you need to go to c:\mysql\bin\. After running that command, the .sql file will be located at the same folder.

    Otherwise you can upload a backup tool, like phpMyAdmin to export your DB
