    Sending emails from StreamlineNet.co.uk Hosting

    Has anyone had any experience with StreamlineNet.co.uk Hosting? As I am currently trying to send out emails using the PHP mail function.

    I can send out emails to local email addresses that are setup on the hosting account eg [email protected]. But when I try to send out external emails, to say [email protected] I get the error:

    SMTP server response: 554 <[email protected]>: Recipient address rejected: Relay access denied in mail.php
    Any ideas how I can send out emails?

    Paste your script here to check what could be going on.... If the script is fine then maybe sendmail is disable...

    Its just a simple PHP mail script:
    PHP Code:
    <?php
    $message
    "This is an email";
    $email "[email protected]";
    $to "[email protected]";

    mail($to"Hello World"$message"From: $email");

    ?>
    I have tried StreamlineNet.co.uk suggested example as well (but their example only shows how to send internal email) which is:
    PHP Code:
    mail($to"Hello World"$message"From: $email""-f$email");
    I have tired using PHP to Perl email and phpmailer, but all seem to fail sending external emails.

    Never mind I managed to fix it with:

    PHP Code:
    ini_set(sendmail_from$email);
    mail"$to""Feedback Form Results"$message"From: $email""[email protected]);
    ini_restore(sendmail_from);
