    Exclamation Name your fav Drink

I am pretty lean n thin, so one of my friends advised me to drink beer to gain some flesh and fat.. don't know if that would help but I am ready to experiment.

Was just thinking which one you guys prefer??
Beer or the *stronger* one? which brand?

edit: im not sure if this violates any forum rules.. So i changed the title.. now you can also post the name of your fav soft drink. WIsh im not startinga Pepsi or Coke thread by doin that..

I drink mostly Stella Artois when I'm out at a pub or bar, and normally finish the night with Dark Rum & Coke. Leaves a really nice taste in your mouth and you don't wake up in the morning with bad dog breath!

    Canadian Club Whiskey and Coke.

Judging by my waistline it seems pretty effective at putting on the pounds.

My favourite alcoholic drinks would have to be rum and coke, and gin and tonic. Both lovely. Generally I drink white rum, as I've only found one nice brown rum – delicious, and pricey, but unfortunately my local shop doesn't have it in often.

I also like beer and wine, although it's not a personal favourite. Although, one wine which I do particularly like is Sauternes. It's a lovely wine, which is a delicate balance between acidic and sweet – although a good one will cost €12 and up (in France that is).

As far as mixed drinks go, I never get sick of White russians. When i need booze, and booze fast; I'm starting to lean away from vodka, and onto rum.

I know some people who love scotch. I haven't ever drank it. The one time i ordered one, was on my 21st birthday. This was long into my drinking frenzy, and i was so drunk i had already passed out a few times. In that drunken state, i said "I would like a scotch". But, the bartender refused to serve me, because i was so out of it.

I haven't tried ordering one since. Simply because i'm always low on cash, and i like ordering drinks that i'm sure i will enjoy. Scotch is supposed to burn really badly though.

But yeah, a white russian is probably full of calories. I've seen some commercials for bacardi and cola, and one of the commercials features 2 women who are watching their carbs. In that commercial, they suggest the women drink bacardi and diet cola. So, i imagine bacardi and regular cola contains some fattening ingredients.

Good luck. If all else fails, there's always old country buffet.

Corona Extra (with a slice of lime) is the best drink in the world.

Stella artois or corona extra as well (agreeing with the slice of lime).
My true favourite drink though (nonalcoholic) would be a slurpee or smoothy though.

I like any kind of quality beer that's brewed locally (on the premises is best). Even the best beers start to lose their flavor when they're bottled and shipped elsewhere.
