there are 2 types of riders, those who've wrecked and those who haven't yet.

the helmet gives you a open casket in most cases.
I bought a suzuki rf900 a few years ago, had it over 150 many times. I noticed the front end starts to float a little bit at those speeds. Was going really fast down the freeway early one morning and almost rear ended a minivan and barely missed going around it. Scared me enough that i didnt go over 100 anymore. But i still love bikes.

Riding like that jeopardizes innocent people on the road. It's just a matter of "when" these idiots are going to lose it. I sincerely hope that they don't hurt of kill anyone other than themselves if they want to ride like that.
Racing belongs on the TRACK not on the STREETS.Cutting Edge Hardware Reviews - FastLane Hardware Forums

I'd be very uncomfortable leaning that far at those speeds.
Lose traction by hitting a clump of dirt, or concrete dust and it's game over, he was nearly completely sideways.TS-Host, A Tulip Company - Hosting since 1995! - AS7219

I don't have any really big hills where I can hit those kind of speeds on my mountain bike but I can hit the mid-30MPH speeds and it starts you thinking about what would happen if you ever hit an obstacle in the road at those speeds.....not a pretty picture.

thats pretty stupid... 147 as a passenger... I have got up to 130 something on my own... it was no way near the max the bike could do but at the time there was a large cross wind and I didnt feel like risking any more. At the time i was racing my friends bmw on a dual carrage way. I backed of pretty soon after i hit the speed because I didnt feel like risking it much longer...

Tell me about it. I've never, ever been so scared. I held on for dear life, and i mean held on. I closed my eyes. I swear my life started flashing before my eyes.
I'll never get a bike after that!

i love biking and love going fast, but I hate doing it on crowded roads. Give me a runway and I would go as fast as possible. Just roads have bends, other cars and bumps... so are not the best place to do it.
