new host need for Bricolage CMS
I need a new webhost as I need to install Bricolage CMS .
It operates in an Apache/mod_perl environment, and uses the
PostgreSQL RDBMS for its repository.
My host says that I would need a dedicated server but my budget just won't allow it at this time.
Can someone help me!?
God bless you.
You may want to try the 'Host Quote' feature and put your requirements for your CMS in the Comments section.
Thank you Steven that's a good idea.
God bless you.
Why would you need a dedicated server? Do you expect super large amounts of disk and bandwidth usage?

If it's just to setup and test or to be used by a few people, going dedicated would be a waste of money and resources.
My host was missing the mod_perl environment and they said the only way for them to set it up was if I upgraded to a dedicated server.
That just was not in my budget at the present time and especially since I don't have the membership #s, etc. to make it feasible.
I posted my request with Host Quote and am already receiving replies.
Thank everyone for your help. That's why I love coming here.
God bless everyone.
I would have thought that "mod_perl" would have been a "standard" for a hosting company these days.
