Some problems with CSS.
Hi,
I'm a veteran web designer who have been using tables to code my websites up till now. However, I have just started learning CSS.
I have encountered a problem which I can't seem to solve and I hope you guys can help me!
http://www.designfission.com/csszen
This webpage here is pushed to the left in FireFox for the PC and Safari for Mac OS X. But in IE 6 on the PC, this webpage is centralised.
I want the page to be center though. Can anyone help me?
I had inserted in the BODY part this CSS line.
text-align: center;
Thanks for reading this and I hope someone can help me!

#container {
background-image: url(images/index_16.gif);
background-repeat: repeat-y;
height: auto;
margin: auto;
text-align: left;
width: 743px
}
Try that instead
margin:auto pushes an equal margin to the left and right of any block-level element with a specified width. This, in effect centers the container and everything inside of it falls into place as well. text-align is only for inline element, like text and images.Studio1337___̴ı̴̴̡̡̡ ̡͌l̡̡̡ ̡͌l̡*̡̡ ̴̡ı̴̴̡ ̡̡͡|̲̲̲͡͡͡ ̲▫̲͡ ̲̲̲͡͡π̲̲͡͡ ̲̲͡▫̲̲͡͡ ̲|̡̡̡ ̡ ̴̡ı̴̡̡ ̡͌l̡̡̡̡.__Web Design
