    Dell does it again

Dell is having a fat discount on their servers

Save $998 on select PowerEdge™ SC1425 systems through Dell Small Business.

Nice. I configured the server to a Dual Xeon 3.0 with 2mb cache, 1 gb ram, 73gb HD 10k RPM, all for only $1,099. Im ordering 1 right now but I still hate their desktops and laptops. Laptops are supposed to be strong according to their commercial. GRrrr.

Any1 want one? Any by the way its a 1 day deal so go buy as many as you can.

I'm happy with my Dell desktop but I wouldn't buy one of their laptops...

    Good deal hunting

I love my Dell Laptop, and the Dell Desktop I have as well. No issues here.

Great sale. Wish I had some cash laying around right now.

nothing is unusual Dell is offering a splendid deal yet again..

I came very close to purchasing a Laptop when they were offering a $750 off recently, but out of the Blue Windows announced Vista and I decided to wait n buy my dream workstation, the Acer Ferrrari once Vista was launched.

My brother got one of the Dell laptops and hasn't had a problem. They seem quite good.

    Three words: DELL IS EVIL.

I swear they will be the death of me with all these deals. They are SO tempting. Right now, with coupons you can get the Axim 500v (768 MHz PDA) with a GPS receiver and extra battery for only $418.

Lol I bought a Dell Axim but I didnt ever use it so I gave it to my friend for $200. I bought it for around $500 or something it was a while back. I loved my HP Ipaq H6315 way better though. My Dell laptop was really good but I still got ripped. The AC jack on the back of my laptop broke and they trying to charge me more then $700 to repair it. GG ehh?

    1. Go to fatwallet.com and make sure you're signed up for FatCash. Go to the Dell Home store and click into the Dell store from Fatwallet. You'll get 3% back on your purchase.

    2. Go to the Axim page and find the special configuration - Axim X50v 624Mhz 480x640 PDA with Dell GPS Navigation System, 802.11b, Bluetooth, 2yr warranty and free Windows Mobile 5.0 upgrade CD $826 with automatic 35% off.

    3. After adding any other options go to checkout and use:

$120 off Axim Coupon Code: JDDBDD1213FWWH (Exp 7/30)
    AND
    $20 off $150 Coupon Code: 2?S0TTNBZHCW9V (Exp 8/2)

Total cost with no other options = $396.90 - 3% back from Fatwallet makes it about $384 shipped free.

I started with the Hivemind 1525 and modified the configuration to match the Dell as close as I could and I came up with $1822.00. Better than the Dell normal price but not close to the sale price.

Am I missing something here? Not comparing apples to apples?

I actually have the $$ to buy this but I just can't justify it. Very tempting though.

Yeah for $50 on both servers.

Before they had an offer you can trade your 73gb 10k rpm to the 36gb 15k rpm HD and get a 2nd 73gb HD for free

Once purchased a Dell desktop that served up nothing but trouble. Since then I've remained loyal to HP through more than 15 computers. Haven't had one problem as of yet. Just purchased a new dv1000 series laptop and also a zd8000 series laptop -- both work great. Can't say anything but good about HP. I will give Dell credit for their servers though -- haven't had a bad one of those yet, but I still much prefer the HP brand to Dell. Great deal that they have there, and I might tempt myself yet into getting one or two.

You forgot the stackable $35 off $300 coupon which you could buy from eBay for $3.98

    But the deal is dead.

I heard that all Dells are supposed to be OrangeJuice 2.0 compatible, no matter what OS you used. I guess I heard wrong
