I'm looking for a bit of advice and help here. In February 2004 I registered a domain name with oneandone.co.uk: www.deanclatworthy.com. I transferred the domain away from themselves on 18th January. I have that in writing from my current domain registrar.
On the 1st of March my contract with oneandone.co.uk was apparently renewed, without my consent. On the 8th March I receieved a letter saying I had an outstanding payment and if I didn't pay within 15days it would be sent to the creditors. I phoned oneandone and found out I had to fax a cancellation to them and the lady on the phone ensured me the payment would be cancelled if I cancelled the contract. I cancelled it and it was cancelled officially according to them on 16th March 2005. I phoned them to make sure it has been processed and they said all had been cancelled and the lady on the phone once again said I would not have to pay any further bills.
However, this saturday (23rd July), I receieved a letter from the creditors about this payment once again.
Oneandone are insisting I pay it, yet why am I being charged for a service I am no longer receiving. It's not like they are making any expenditure because the domain isn't in their name and they cannot renew it.
I need some advice here. I really don't want to pay this £25.84 fee. This company is a <edit> joke

The contract was renewed on the 1st of March but later cancelled by myself. I never receieved anything in writing from them confirming this other than over the phone to say it was cancelled. It has been cancelled, but they're saying because I cancelled after the contract had been automatically renewed, I still have to pay the charge.
