I have a Cobalt Raq 4r located behind a firewall running NAT. I have set up one-to-one NAT to match the public IP address 168.x.x.x to the private IP address of the Raq 10.31.15.16. But everytime users try to connect to the Raq from outside the LAN they get the following error message:
Error 404 IE
"raq.triunetechaz.net" could not be found Netscape.
I am trying to enable IP address only access without using DNS.
Accessing the RaQ via an IP address brings up the first website, scanning from top to bottom, in your Apache config file for that IP. That's an Apache-ism, not a Cobalt-ism. By only providing an IP, Apache has no way to determine which of multiple virtual sites you are referring to, so it just returns the first one it finds.
