## Riddle me this, Batman...

-----------------------------------------------------------
What row of numbers comes next?
This is a tough one!
1
11
21
1211
111221
312211
13112221

-------------------------------------------------------------

A man walks up to you and says - "everything I say to you is a lie." Is he telling you the truth or is he lying?

--------------------------------------------------------------

A woman has 7 children, half of them are boys.
How can this be possible?

--------------------------------------------------------------

If you were running a race, and you passed the person in 2nd place, what place would you be in now?

-----------------------------------------------------------------

What word in the English language uses all five vowels plus Y in alphabetical order and uses each one only once?

---------------------------------------------------------------------

The ages of a father and son add up to 66. The father's age is the son's age reversed.
How old could they be? (3 possible solutions).

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Sabrina gave Samantha as many dollars as Samantha started out with. Samantha then gave Sabrina back as much as Sabrina had left. Sabrina then gave Samantha as back as many dollars as Samantha had left, which left Sabrina broke and gave Samantha a total of \$80.00. How much did Sabrina and Samantha have at the beginning of their exchange?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name a five letter word which has three consonants all the same and two different vowels. Every now and then you see this while running a Window95/98 on your PC.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After having a quick read, I know the answer to just one of them, it is by far the simplest riddle there. I never was good at riddles.

I thought we were sending answers on a post card.

If you were running a race, and you passed the person in 2nd place, what place would you be in now?
2nd of course! Unless you were lapping 2nd place, where upon you would be in 1st, and it all depends if you are in the same race as the person in 2nd place, because if you are not, you could be in any position... ok, you get the picture, unless I missed something, that was easy.

Dang it. Blankwire got 'em all!

Either he's a veritable genius, or he's a google user. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and grant him marshall status in the thread.

Congrats, Blankwire.

(next time, Vito commits to making the riddles much more difficult...)

Interesting

Eighty percent of Kindergartners solved
this riddle, but only 5% of Stanford
graduates figured it out!

Here's one, it might be because I know the answer, but it seems a bit easy:

I can fly.
I was created by man.
I am seen, but I cannot be felt.
Spend me doing whatever you wish.

06 and 60? - Not sure if that counts, or that the son appreciated his fathers 54 year advantage.

I will PayPal \$100 USD to anyone that can solve this riddle!

If there's four, I have two.
Eternally I am 3 to 7 But I can double.
Seated I reach 50.

What Am I?

Good Luck Everyone!

I am thinking it could be the number 3, but I can only match it to two of the statements:

It has 4 to the right of it, and has 2 to the left of it.
It is always between 3 and 7, and doubled (6), it is still between 3 and 7.

I was thinking it is a pair of die, but the numbers don't make sense.

Well if it can be a pair of something I'd go with two quarters (US 25 cents) but I don't think he'd be talking about a pair of anything. Nice brain teaser

If I had to take a guess, I would say that Trifolic made it all up, and there isn't an answer. Do I get the \$100 Trifolic?

What google couldn't find the answer for you? I'm not giving away \$100, if you want it your going to have to work for it!

However I can honestly say that none of you above are even remotely close.. Start thinking outside the box... Get outta your seat and look around!
