    how to deny users to execute CGI scripts

    hi

    How do I deny users to execute CGI scripts in any directory but CGI-BIN.

    I run Red Hat E. with WHM/cpanel

    You may just not enable it in your tariff plans. Each package may include or exclude cgi-bin option.

    what to do for existing users... I tried to modify them in WHM but there is no option for CGI.

    You can modify there VirtualHost directive in httpd.conf
    Options +ExecCGI
    Change to -ExecCGI

    Somthing along those lines.
