    uninstall curl (7.12.0) properly

How do I properly uninstall curl (7.12.0) on a cpanel server? It's not a rpm.

The reason I want to uninstall it is that I have no use for it on this server, and I do believe 7.12.0 is not secure either.

I chmodded /usr/bin/curl to 700 for now, but I just want to get rid of it completely.

    cd /home/cpapachebuild/buildapache/curl-7.12.0
    make uninstall

Or check the make file / curl docs to see if there is another official removal process.
