font script
I knew someone who had this for cutenews, but I don't know if you can download it or if there's a version to use it without cutenews
On this site:
http://www.discussgta.com/
You see the text "Discuss Gta.com" I want to put that in pricedown (GTA font) without using an image. Does anyone have some code or know of some code so I could upload the font and everytime the page loads it changes it to the correct font, if people do not have the GTA font already on their computer...or even if they do?

I don't know if these guys have anything that would match what you're looking for, but I get a ton of my fonts from them. They have a lot of other "rip off" fonts. I'm sure they'd have something comparable to what you're looking for.
Hope that helps.

Flash would work, but if you go that route, you might as well make an image.
You can use the GD library to create images "on the fly", which is another option - and I think they can be cached as well so you aren't making 100's of images in memory.
But if you don't mind my asking, why can't you just make an image? If the text doesn't change, whats the point of going this complex route to use a certain font?

affordahost, It's only possbile for your visiters to see it if they have the font OR you make a picture. Just change it in the files of Cutenews. I used it to. Great stuff
