Any Pink Floyd fans hear "Live in London"?

I recently picked up the album, recorded in 1971/2.. after hearing a five minute Comfortably Numb solo, hearing Live 8 stuff just isn't very impressive (okay, it's thirty years later, but regardless).

Anyways, everyone who doesn't own it and likes Pink Floyd should own it.

I haven't heard it. But, I do have, and love the 1995 "Pulse" album.

I'll try and find that album.

DanX Floyd's Live8 performance was pretty good compared with most of their live work. Pink Floyd is pure genious studio group. Although they are quite good live, most of the fans love them for the studio albums.

71ish.. must be Meddle or Obscured by Clouds. Both are necessiarly their best albums by any stretch of the imagination.. although "Echoes" can be argued as their best song.

For any new Floyd fans I would suggest these 4 albums:

    Darkside of the Moon
    The Wall
    Wish You Were Here
    Animals

Once you get these and like them progress to:

The Piper at the Gates of Dawn
    Atom Heart Mother
    Divison Bell
    Meddle

You like those ones.. try the next:

    Obscured by Clouds
    A Momentary Lapse of Reason
    The Final Cut

    Then get really freaky:

    A Saucerful of Secrets
    More
    UmmaGumma

Then bust out some solo projects:

    Dave Gilmour
    Dave Gilmour - About Face
Syd Barret's - Map Cap Laughs
    Roger Waters Amused to Death

    etc...

Then get so far into it, you nearly have no life:

Live8 was good, but the solo in that version was over five minutes

Which actually is a few minutes short of most Comfy Numb solos by Dave.

"Come on big bum" is usually a 7 - 8 minute solo, and a very good version is on the P*U*L*S*E live version.
