As for as I know, linux and windows encrypt the password in htpasswd in different ways. So I can't just copy the htpasswd from linux to windows, am I correct?
Is there any easy way to convert the htpasswd, so that it can be used in windows too?
Yep! you can as both use the same encryption method. Also you can create htpasswords from here :
