I need some advice. I am in the process of reworking all my ventures into more of a streamlined company. I am almost ready to incorporate.
Now in the realm of this new "company" it will have several distinct "departments" and I wanted each to have a sub-site with its own domain to feature what is offered per "department".
So I have the main company domain in a .com. I was looking at the domains for these "departments". Most are available. Three are not. Two go to a parking page, and the third goes to a web site that barely has anything to do with the domain name its using.
So, yeah I can wait until they expire and hopefully a backorder service can snap them up. But in the meantime, I am getting everything up and running so I need a domain. My question is this - what other TLD should I use in the interim. I was thinking .biz, or maybe .us. Then there is the .info or .ws.
I was thinking .net, but its not available for all three.
And that leads me to my other question. Should I buy all the domains for my "departments" the same TLD and then just pickup the .coms and point or should I point to the .coms assuming that some day I will end up picking up those three domains?
