Site 5 Good or Bad Host Company?
I am currently looking into switching from dreamhost to site5 or any other hosting website? Anyone know any background information on site5 are they good, bad, etc...? Also what is their PHP version and Mysql version they use on their servers? Is it windows hosting or linux hosting? Thanks in advance to anyone who helps me out on this one. Again Thanks
Do a search if you didn't already. There's plenty to read about them.

That's an excellent question to ask their sales team. I can only tell about the server where my site is:
Also what is their PHP version and Mysql version they use on their servers?
They only offer Linux hosting:
Operating system Linux
Linux kernel version 2.6.9-5.0.5.ELsmp
Apache version 1.3.33 (Unix)
Perl version 5.8.6 (more info)
PHP version PHP/4.3.11 (more info)
MySQL version 4.0.24-standard
They have very good reputation here.
They are a cPanel Based host, so only Linux.
Shared and Reseller cPanel Accounts. NEW! Windows 2003 with Plesk, ASP.NET 2.0 and MSSQL 2005.
Site5: if you give me the alternatives "good" or "bad", I'd absolutely go for "good".
My own experience with them is excellent.
Yes, they are *good*. And have *some* satisfied costumers...
Very good reputation 10/10
I've only been with them a few weeks, based on comments I read here. My PHP-based DB-driven site is running noticeably better with them than it did with other hosts.
If you search, you will find plenty of reviews on them
