Dedicated Linux Server book
Are there any good books on running a dedicated linux server? Maybe even one about plesk?
I recently moved from a shared server to a dedicated server and may have gotten in over my head *whoops* It's not like i'm the only one who's ever gotten in over their head w/ something.
There are dozens of linux books at amazon.com or any local book store.
As far as Plesk specific there are some great docs on SWSoft's website I would suggest starting there.
A Practical Guide to Red Hat Linux, by Marl k G Sobell
is the best Linux book I've found.
After studying the Plesk documentation, a great place to learn troubleshooting Plesk is from the people who actually use it. I'm not allowed to post URLs yet, so just go to the SW-Soft website, and click on 'Online Forums'. Once there, search ‘howto setup Plesk’.
I highly recommend using yum at atomicrocketturtle.com for installing and updating Plesk.
You could also find many online Linux books, just try to search !
I never felt there was a good a-z server specific book for admining a linux server.
Any WHT'ers wanna get their photo on a Wrox cover
