I am planning to do stuffs with high cpu and data usage; they're something like an Earth Life simulator (CPU intensive) cum web-based online game (IO intensive).
I guess the best spec for this is a dedicated server which cost about 100 USD per month. Now, if i can find a server lets say in India for 100 Rupees per month (ie about 2.5 USD), that'd be a steal Heard people there speak good english too. I'd like to know if anyone has experience in this - price, support, reliability etc.
I agree, I think its a much better idea getting hosting in US whether your own server or a shared/reseller hosting package as saving the few bucks but greatly reducing your loading time isnt worth it, or even the long distance phone calls for emergency support etc...

With the pricing in this market the only thing you'll do by going offshore is slowing the speed to your sites and getting non-english support (in most cases).
The pricing even in the US is insanely cheap.
