Trouble Ticket Software - PHP - Any reccomendations?

    Hello,

Looking for a nice, clean, trouble ticket software. Basicly one that can pipe email to it, runs smooth, easy, and is updated often.

I am using osticket right now, its great, just to many bugs, and dont have the time to mess around with applying patches and what not.

I saw a few cerebrus and koyoto, any others?

And any reviews on these guys i mentioned above?

    Thanks
    - John

Kayako and Cerberus are two of the best support desks. Good Luck..

It works great, except there are a lot of bugs, had to hard mod a lot of things. I am just looking for other options.

I just want something quick, simple and clean.

Most of them have a lot of features i just dont need. (FAQ, etc)

If you want something great, then pay for it. I'm a big fan of Kayako - excellent system with no bugs. Also very versatile.

I will pay, no problem doing that.

I just caint seem to find something that i really like.

I dont need the bloated extra's that Kayako offers, however the price seems right at 99/yr.

    Thanks again guys

We don't need or use the extras either. The TT system is just worth the cash on its own. After using for a year we decided on getting the owned licence.

PMOS is good - except that the piping feature doesn't work as great as it could. Tickets don't stay threaded if you reply to an existing ticket.

A good helpdesk although commercial is SupportTrio (www.activecampaign.com). They have a lite version for about $13/month and a trial version for you to get your feet wet with. Piping works flawlessly with it.

They have a free version, or you purchase a one domain option for $350 (and even pay it 12 monthly installments as well, if it's too much in one go). There isn't anything better that's out and stable

Sounds opposite of good then. Ticket system without reliable piping is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

The SitePanel2 stuff looks an awful lot like PMOS. I'm sure the piping feature in PMOS could be hacked so that it works.

Yet another vote for Cerberus HelpDesk. It goes beyond a simple "helpdesk system", plus isn't encoded, so you can customize as much as you want.

I don't have the time to fix the problems with the piping in PMOS, but if someone submits a fix to me (I'm sure users out there have made the fixes) I will post it.

    Thanks.
