Ok, I host with a not-so-great host. but for the most part it's personal sites and stuff.
Anyhow, there's a reaccuring problem with my subdomains. http://axe9.com will work, but http://youth.axe9.com or josh.axe9.com or blog.axe9.com will all be down. or axe9.com and axe9.net will work, but axe9.us and axe9.org will both be down.
Sometimes axe9.com will be down, but I'll be able to connect to the FTP for some reason.
I'm guessing this is something screwed up in their DNS. but every time I ask them to solve the problem, they say there's nothing wrong, and it's on my end.
when you are having trouble check what dnsstuff says. I would suggest trying telnet IP 80 (for port 80) from your local computer when the site is "down" to see if it works. It may be a problem with apache on the host side. From here and just an initial look it does seem like it is an ISP issue but see what dns stuff reports so you can at least prove or disprove the hosts idea.

A quick peek at the DNS shows that you don't have entries for the subdomains in the record. On polling the server for DNS records, one of the nameservers never responded. You're also missing reverse DNS for the IP, which might cause some sent mail to be refused.
These could be contributing to your failures.
