I am having a ton of problems with them as far as SQL goes. I am on a shared host so I do understand that it doesn't compare to a dedicated host (especially where SQL databases are concerned), but I wish they could fix the "too many connections" problem.
Sheesh I wonder if all shared hosting is this bad or if other shared hosts will give better SQL stability? Does anyone prefer any hosts?
with that said: Yes, in a shared environment you are going to have issues that pop up more often but that doesn't mean a host shouldn't have them dealt with before you even notice them.
I'm not saying abandon your current host but if it's really causing problems with your site: look elsewhere.
Well Radiant said they know of two sites that were bogging down the SQL server because their software wasn't dropping the connections to the SQL server like they should. I was thinking about switching anyways to ValueWeb. ValueWeb offers more databases for the amount I am paying with Radiant plus there site looks better .
