    50 cents?

Anyone listen to 50 cents? A friend got tickets down to the Missoula, Montana at the Big Sky Brewing Amphitheater on the 16th (tomorrow). Since I only live 2 hours away I am thinking of going, but never really listen to his music.

If you do what is it like? Any good?

It's "fihdy cent", and not "50 cents".

It all depends on your personal music preferences. I don't specifically like rap/hiphop, but 50 Cent is one of the artists I would listen to anytime.

I like 50 Cent's music before his Get Rich or Die Tryin' CD (namely Power of the Dollar).

His newer stuff is ok. It's just too mainstream for my taste.

    It's excellent in a lowrider

Just play "Candy Shop" at high volume in your Bose powered Hummer 2005. Only then you'll know the feeling

It's 50 Cent (Not plural) part of the G-Unit.

Yeah, but you have to pronounce the "50" as "fihdy". That's what they reckon on the radio here.

I used to like it a lot more until I heard my 3rd graders (8 years old) recite...

I'll take you to the candy shop
I'll let you lick the lollypop...

-etc. Now, I can't hear it without thinking of that and it's just creepy to be honest. I told them not to sing it (why?) because they didn't know what it meant, and they responded wide-eyed, "Yes I do!" I'm hoping they don't, but I didn't go into it any more.

And the sad thing is that you can't prohibit them to listen to his music. But quite frankly, 50 Cent is one of the "tame" rappers. He's also one of the nice playing ones. You might have seen his biography.

Yeah I listen to him. Maybe because his songs are always on the radio every 15 minutes.
