    Interesting... Thanks for that!

I'd edit the title to around or almost if I could.

heh, yea, that was a bit misleading

That is a nice server though. But if I may ask, are you sure it's 80GB SCSI or 80GB SATA? I'm just making sure that's not a typo, although 80GB SCSI does turn up quite a few results on google so there might be some of those kinds of drives.

I would like to apolagize up front if this looks bad at all I have not posted on one of these things before.

I read through all the replies on this post and do agree that it was a little misleading but it seems like onering corrected his post after the initial response (Thank You!!!) but to me everyone is being a little harsh on his case for a mistake.

From some experience that I have had with large datacenters I know that any good datacenter will place the lowest priority possible on ping requests and many ISP's are doing this as well so a ping test or traceroute is not always the most accurate assumption of what a game server will perform when it is running. The best test would be to open up a server for people to join and test out. This, in my opinion, would be the best way to test out the server and the connection.

I think the SCII Hard Drives are 73 GB after consulting the Dell site. But really, what is 7GB in todays world when you are talking about having over 70GB. Is anyone that is hosting a game really going to need more than 50 GB to install and OS and a few games?

Generally your ping would be a bit higher in game for the same reason. (Ping priority)
