CPanel DNS question

I have parked a few domains ontop of my main parked domain.
Thing is some of these domains had subdomains like forum.domain2.com

If I edit the DNS Zone file for domain1.com where they are parked and add a * A record will this work for all the parked domains? Will it break CPanel in any way?

Hey there,

You can change the DNS zone and it shouldn't touch the parked domain zones because it's still directed to the account on the server. If you want to edit the parked domains too, you will have to edit each domain zone in WHM.

Second; no it won't break cPanel. The only problem is waiting for the DNS to change because it's slow sometimes.

Regards,
Jason

Darn I was hoping I could change one zone and all would wor.

Like if I add * to the main domain,
forum.domain1.com
forum.domain2.com
forum.domain3.com
etc would all work... if I have to edit each zone that will suck hehe

Thanks for the help.
