B/w Usage Monitoring on my VPS.. How?

I am currently having a small site on a very low end unmanaged freeBSD VPS. The problem is that the provider doesn't give you any method to check your current B/w usage. Can any one here help me in monitoring the B/w usage of my IP? I have heard of MRTG and SNMP. Neither of these two existed on my VPS. I installed them using ports but don't know how to configure them and use them. They are just too much difficult for me. Please help.

There is no any other (easy) script
You have to start learning MRTG

I have been looking into http://rtg.sourceforge.net and I really like it a lot.

Since you are wanting to monitor your own system though you may want to install Cacti instead http://cacti.net

    I hope this helps.

    Have a great day!
