DirectI is really cheap, albiet buggy at times. Tucow's OpenSRS is more expensive than eNom IIRC.

Sorry, it may be a little off topic, but are sub accounts at eNom required to have minimum balance? I have heard it is $100. Not sure though

Which one is related to namecheap? I am looking to register around 30 domains in the next month or so. So even if im saving a couple of dollars or so i guess they would add up.

NameCheap is their own registrar.
$8.88 is a pretty good price for domains, you can usually get free eNom accounts at $8.95 pricing.
