My /usr partition is set at 9.7G For some reason, it's increasing by 1% everyday This just started to happen recently, back then the usage rarely increases. What could be causing this? I doubt it's logs since logs are kept in /var ?? Thanks in advance.
I know that, 2.2G used in /usr/local but total spaced used is 6.8G in the /usr partition. That's why I mentioned the 4G in the /usr directory (excluding the sub-dir). The X server was installed for ProzGUI and VNC server but that's not my concern now..
If you're running cpanel, this is most likely increasing because of apache logs (/usr/local/apache/), which obviously get written to every time that someone views the page.
