    Thumbs down Allmanaged - I'm getting really annoyed

    You can read about some of my problems in a topic posted couple of hours ago. (That's not the reason for this topic) I told them about the problem and they said they'll reboot the server (I didn't ask for a reboot, server is up for only a day). Since then server is inaccessible. It happened 4 hours ago, server is still not working. 3 tickets were not enough to solve this issue.

    The last reboot made time()/date() functions not working properly. I can't even imagine what's gonna happen next time.


    I'm still waiting for server to start working...

    Get some sleep and it will be fine in the morning =D

    Some of us depend financially on our servers..
    Morning may mean money loss (and it will).

    That is true, playtpus, why don't you give them a ring and tell them a problem. im sure they wont ignore/reject/not listen to you when you call them up personally.

    And a phone call would cost me more than a new server.

    Hi! I sorry about your problem.
    I have same server as you and for all time I don't have any major problem with my server. All problem that I had was resolved quick and amazing! :=(

    my box keeps UP and DOWN all day.
    After 3 hrs, they still don't answer my ticket

    I guess we're not all that lucky

    I got someone from the US to call them and they said something weird is going on and they're not sure what it is. Apparently most of the servers have been affected and they are working on it for past 9 hours.

    "most of the servers", "they are not sure whats going on"...

    I got a reply after 3 hours. They said everything works fine. I can't believe it. Are they afraid to write it in an email or what? Servers are down. They said it on the phone..

    Still nothing after 13 hours. All i got from them is "it is now responding to ping and ssh". Should I give root password to all visitors, tell them to log in to SSH and browse files?

    FTP, WHM and sites are still not working. I can only connect to a server using SSH but it's not responding after I connect.

    I asked them about problem with network, they answer me during 30 minites!

    After their network issue, I cannot login ftp, cpanel, whm, ssh, outlook email...

    They still not fix my box too.
    Hope I can hear good news because my clients wanna hear something too.

    Okay, after 16 hours I got this:

    When the server was rebooted we got several errors related to 'kern.maxpipekva exceeded'. We are looking into what is causing this issue and will get back to you asap. Thank you.

    16 hours and they don't even know what's causing this issue. That's just great.

    Server downtime: 20 hours. This is unbelievable.

    Not a very good host, I believe I had a server for over a year, never paid for it, and they never knew until I called them and finally after 369 days, they took it offline. Good luck, Clint.

    Sorry to hear about your problems. I have been with them for several months and have had a great experience.

    Allmanaged has only been out for a little over 7 months. Are you a new user trying to bash them, if you are, at least get your facts straight first.

    Often times, support makes at least one typo on their responses. I hope they would double check before pressing the reply button.

    Their network caused the problem.
    After one day, my box works stable now.
