I'm currently running one of my W2003 servers with EV1, and paying $99 per month. I'm looking for a lower cost; the server is seriously under-utilized.
Superb Servers are currently offering a value solution for $75, which would be a considerable savings, but I've heard very little about them. One main catch is providers tagging on licensing costs to their per month charge, usually running at $15-20.
If anyone is running a value server like this please do let me know.
That Value Server comes without Windows 2003 and only 256mb RAM. 256mb is not going to hold up well for Windows even without any sites. If you want to run Windows, there is the Windows Web Edition which would cost you another $14.95/mth and another $15/mth for an additional 256mb RAM.
Thanks Eddy, I just saw that myself a couple of hours ago. I think monthly service charges for RAM are a little much, especially as memory is so in-expensive right now. I would send them memory myself if they permitted.
Hey Eddy, I ended up getting a pretty good deal with them; $75 per month, including license and 500mb bandwidth. It's $25 lower than the price I'm paying EV1 and I think I like smaller companies better anyway .

I assume you mean 500GB bandwidth because 500MB will run out pretty quickly
Good luck with your new box.

LOL, thanks elix, 500GB. I do have other corporate servers hosted with EV1 which I won't be moving, but hosting that personal server was just a waste of resources. Besides, dropping from a Celeron 1.7 to a Pentium 1.5 is negligible.
