I heard about Tinyhosts through a friend locally. He spoke very highly of the Owner - John and said the pricing and service was unmatched.
You *get to use* a domain and at the time it was a cheap price for a year service. I selected a domain and started uploading my site, it was alot faster than Registerfly and I was happy. The Cpanel was a little bare and it seemed like alot of the files in Fantistico were out of date, but all in all it worked.
Until I needed support.....
I had so many problems with scripts running on his server that I did not on others (I was using HostGator at the time also). I don't have access to the box's so can't really say why. The only known facts are things that would work seamlessly with other hosts would not on Tinyhosts box. I wanted to transfer my main forum to his box. The DB was probally 3 megs, not to large but just over that little "mark" that can give problems with phpbb.<2mg>
I could not do it myself, so I asked him if I could email him it and he restore it. This I guess was an odd request because I had to ask a few times, finally he did it.
After finding a host that simply had more to offer and with support that is unrivalled (ResellerZoom) I asked through messenger (his point of contact listed on his page) about 4 times if he could point it to my new host, with no response. Finally I email him and ask he replys back to read the legal. The legal link is only found a few pages from the base and only if you click on Terminate. So naturally I have never seen it. Even from the 50 plus question and answer FAQ.
I find out that he charges you $35 dollars plus a $20 "handling fee" to give you your domain if you want to point it to another server before 12 months ends. Forget that you have already paid for the domain and the hosting for a year and it wouldnt make a cent difference to him to let you point it where you want, he wont budge.
Also you get the feeling that you are bothering him with support requests. I could see if it's oddball questions or asking for help building a site but DB restoration because your servers prevent it? Come on. For some reason oddly when I upload things to his server it only lets it get about 10 second of action in then promptly disconnects it. I remember uploading Simple Machine Forums and having to do it 7 times, stopping and seeing how far it has gotten then copying what is left off.
Sadly this guy has left such a bad taste in my mouth that it has changed how I view the person that even told me about him/tinyhosts.
I spoke to a friend who has had battles with a few hosts and said that if he was in America he could be sued for "Domain Fraud" but since he is overseas it's impossible. I just want the dmn domain I paid for!!!
He can keep the server space and sell it to someone else. I'm suprised he would rather have a customer angry and stuck for a year when it isn't going to do him any good, than give him the domain and close the account and resell it.
Oh well, just wanted to post my experience with Tinyhosts.com

Impossible? Nothing is impossible!
However, depending on the terms of the hosting contract, the "free" domain you got might actually be owned by Tinyhosts and only given to you to use for no charge. When you decided to move and (probably) ask for a refund, you lost the right to use it. Thus the charge to give you the domain.
But this was a good lesson to learn.
Hopefully others will learn it from your story instead of experiencing it themselves.
Thank you for taking the time to write the review.
Well , we can only see if he honors his word and turns it over after the 12 months is up. I never cancelled just wanted to point the domain somewhere else.
Sad thing, and this always happens. When I run a search I see I'm not alone with this guy. Oh well, hopefully others will learn from this, and hopefully he will learn. It could be good for all parties involved.
