What does a 1 GB RAM cost in your country

    Hello,

I am purchasing a 1GB RAM for my Desktop tommorow, was just guessing what the same would cost around the world.

Out here, it is available for little less than US $100 with three years' guarantee.

It depends on the quality of the RAM, latency, the speed (in mhz) etc.. 1 gig of RAM can go through £50 or so - £300-£400.

I got myself a 2GB PC-3200 Dual Channel DDR Ram last year, it was at $330, so half of it is $165

    Prices are cheaper now though...

We generally buy the ECC registered modules from Dell. Depending on if we are buying on bulk or not, we will pay up to $300 for 1GB of RAM for the 800MHz FSB Xeons we generally order.
