Anyone knows about The Planet's servers?

    ------------------------------------------------
    Server Specifications:
    IntelŪ PentiumŪ 3.6 GHz
    2048 Mb SDRAM
    600 Gb HDD (RAID 1)
    RedHat Enterprise Linux WS 4
    Server host at The Planet.
    ------------------------------------------------

Thats what i got from a seller.
The planet has P4 3.6GHz server?
I saw from The planet's website.. they dont hv any P4 3.6Ghz servers..
Is it possible for customer to customise their servers at the planet?

Are you sure that the seller isn't talking about 3.06ghz P4 processor? Also, even if The Planet wouldn't build a customized server, the server could be colocated at one of The Planet's datacenters.

Most properly it is hosted in The Planet's datacenter but it is not a The Planet's offering.

That definately doesnt look like like a server that ThePlanet would sell. And their Colo space is hard to come by from what I hear. Maybe its hosted elsewhere?

I'm also not aware of any 600GB hard drives on the market. It's either 600GB of some other RAID level (i.e. RAID10 or RAID5), or they're calling a 2x300GB mirror 600GB, which is incorrect.
