I really just need someone for my peace of mind. Our servers are already managed, so if they go down that's all covered. I just need someone to help clients out, if any of them need help. Answer presales questions if it's easy for you to do, if not just state that "The owner is on hoilday and will be able to respond to these emails on Tuesday evening, sorry"
We currently offer IM support & email. IM is most popular...but most, if not all, of the conversations i've had this week have been more social, IE. talking about current affairs and other things with clients. I like to get to know them at a more personal level - Though i won't ask this of you. So as you can see our clients are good at resolving things themselfs, rather than needing to be treated like a baby.
For this I'd first like to exchange this service with another small webhosting company, so when you go on hoilday I can give your clients help. Second option a low fee, maybe $10 - $20. This may seem peanuts, but unless something odd happens it would basicly be me giving you money - litterary. Thirdly, we give you some webspace to cover it.
I would ask for a few days 'demo' support, just to see how good you are & if you help the clients. I WILL be getting clients to randomly check you are on messenger and not just leaving it on all day.
I am going to need this service again in August, but I am not promising you'll get the job, though It's more than likely you will. I may also need someone for some hours a day later in the year, but let me make myself clear,
this is in no way a promise. It really just depends how you act.
